THe nerves are real...

Coming into a boudoir session, especially having never done it before is completely normal to be anxious.

"I was extremely nervous for my session, having never done a boudoir shoot before." said Miss R.

"I was definitely excited for the experience, but putting oneself in such a vulnerable state for a photographer you’ve never met is very nerve-wracking."

Being the photographer that you have never met, I am well aware of how vulnerable these sessions are. How literally and figuratively you have to "stripe down" in front of the camera. Its hard! Especially when you don't love every inch of your body; and lets be honest, most of us don't.

"I’m so glad that I had the session," said Miss R.

"Though I will always feel self-conscious when looking at myself in photos, it was so nice to feel beautiful in a photo. Brooke did a great job of capturing flattering possesses and making me feel comfortable with myself."

When you leave your session I want you to feel like a queen. Really, I do! I want you to look back and think how fun the session was. The laughs shared, the little sneaks of the photos I took. I want you to leave wanting to come back. I want you to leave excited to see your photos. My ultimate goal if just for you to have a good experience. Of course, I want you to love your images, but I want you to love your experience too.

"Though it is terrifying to think about at first, taking the plunge and doing it is worth stepping out of your comfort zone. Whether it’s for a significant other, or just for self-empowerment, it’s a beautiful experience," said Miss R.

Now it is your turn. Take the plunge, as Miss R said and do something for YOU. You won't regret it.

With love,

Brooke
