My story


As you may know by now, my name is Brooke. I grew up in Greene County, PA but I now live in Indiana, PA. I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I got my bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management. I got my camera (my first and current) from my father as a Christmas gift. I was in Yearbook in Highschool and really loved it! I was so thankful to have my own camera! I would have photoshoots of my little sister and her friends all the time. Until 2021, my sister and my best friend were the only people I had taken photos of. The idea of meeting a stranger, posing them, and taking their pictures terrified me. Now? I love it! I love people, meeting new people, learning what makes them unique. After all, that was why I choose the major I did!


After graduating I felt lost. I had no idea what I wanted to do. I was jealous of those who seemed to have their life together. It was about 6 months until I finally found a job (it was also middle of COVID in 2020 so it was hard anyways). I started my corporate job in January of 2021. I took the big leap into my photography business June 9th, 2021 when I did my first photography session. I immediately fell in love with it and knew it was my true passion. Since then I have met so many wonderful people in and around the Indiana area. I can't wait to see where this passion takes me. Hopefully I get to meet you, who is reading this right now, some day soon.
